British band Bombay Bicycle Club have announced they will be returning to our shores this November with the talented quartet, Jack Steadman, Jamie MacColl, Suren de Saram and Ed Nash playing a headline show in Sydney.

Bombay Bicycle Club burst onto the scene in 2009 in their late teens with their acclaimed debut album, I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose featuring the hit single, Always Like This captivating early adopters across the globe. A visceral guitar driven record, teeming with teenage angst and youthful abandonment - songs that spoke to thousands, and a heart on its sleeve statement of this young band’s intent earning them the coveted Best New Band award at the 2010 NME Awards.

Continuing to push musical boundaries, the band explored electronic and dance influences on their 2011 release, A Different Kind of Fix which featured the atmospheric lead single Shuffle.

Fast forward to June 2023, Bombay Bicycle Club unleashed their sixth album, My Big Day which swiftly climbed to #3 on the UK album charts marking their 3rd consecutive Top 5 and fifth Top 10 release. The album boasted an array of guest contributions from luminaries such as Damon Albarn of Blur, rising star Holly Humberstone, indie darling Jay Som and soul legend Chaka Khan.

Throughout Bombay Bicycle Club’s musical evolution over a seventeen-year journey, they’ve toured the globe and performed at some of the world’s most prestigious festivals including Leeds, Reading, Glastonbury, Coachella to name a few, and continue to be praised for their super high energy live shows.
