MSTRKRFT are the mask wearing, gyrate inducing, whisky-loving Canadian duo who in recent years have developed a cult following that would give Charles Manson a run for his money.
Comprised of Jesse F Keeler and studio wiz Alex Puodziukas, MSTRKRFT made a major contribution to the advancement of electro in 2006 with their debut album The Looks, which featured instant hits Easy Love, Work on You, Paris and Street Justice.
After touring the world vigorously last year, 2008 sees no-stopping for the MSTRKRFT juggernaut with a second album set for release later in the year. And what can we expect from their latest offering? Well if the rave-tastic VuVuVu and hip-hop laced Bounce are anything to go by, we’d better be prepared to get down and dirty like never before as we’re taken on a journey of underground beats, chaotic drops and addictive hooks.
